If you are not on the HR or Procurement/Sourcing team within an employer with over 200 employees, you will not be granted access to Connect. Shortlister Connect allows these teams to efficiently research & identify their optimal vendor partners, track existing vendor relationships & performance and “connect” with other employers to share successes and vendor experiences. The only thing missing is navigation for that, you'd have to spend a lot more money on a device like the Magellan Cyclo 505HC ( at Amazon) (Opens in a new window) or the Garmin Edge 1000 ($749.00 at Amazon) (Opens in a new window).Shortlister Connect is a tool specifically designed to be utilized by the HR and Procurement/Sourcing teams within mid-size, large and jumbo employers. Plus, it comes bundled with a heart rate monitor and cadence sensor. The Cateye Strada Smart is a great bike computer, and pairing it with your smartphone makes it even better. In addition to the Cycling app, you can sync your ride data with Cateye Atlas, a Web-based program that logs your rides on a map, and enables you to connect with other site members. From the app, there's a red button that starts, pauses, and stops recording.Īt the end of your ride, you save and upload trip data by going into the Cycling app with just a few clicks, it couldn't be easier. When paired with a smartphone, the screen says "Ready " pressing the Mode button on the back of the unit starts and pauses recording holding it for three seconds stops recording. I used the Strada Smart for an hour-long ride starting and stopping recording is easy. During rides, you can keep your smartphone stowed away, and see your current speed and time elapsed on the unit I wish it had a built-in clock, though. The Strada Smart's small size is convenient, as it won't get in the way of other accessories you might use, like the small bike bag I connect to my handlebars. You can also use the Cycling app on its own to record your rides. Without a smartphone, the Strada Smart collects information from sensors connected to your bike and/or a heart rate monitor (via Sensor Direct mode) once you have a connection, you can sync that data with the Cycling app. When paired with your smartphone, you can control all functions from the Strada Smart and view incoming call and text alerts, which saves on your phone's battery life this is called Mirror mode. The Strada Smart doesn't offer GPS navigation, but using the app, you can see your current location on your smartphone. You can view the activity list in graph, list, or calendar form. In it you can view your recent trips and full activity summary, which shows totals for the year, your biggest ride, and biggest ascending altitude. The Strada Smart itself is very simple, with three function buttons on the back: AC, Menu, and Mode. (Opens in a new window) Read Our Garmin Edge 1000 Review How to Set Up Two-Factor Authentication.
